Short version
- We do not require an account.
- The iOS app sends location coordinates to our server only to fetch the forecast for that point.
- Our server forwards the coordinates to Apple WeatherKit and Open-Meteo and caches the response by rounded coordinate so identical lookups are answered from cache.
- We do not link forecast lookups to identifiers, advertising IDs, or any account.
What our server stores
Cached forecast and air-quality responses, keyed by rounded latitude and longitude (roughly a 100-meter grid). Cache expires automatically. We keep standard request logs (no precise coordinates, no IP addresses tied to requests in long-term storage) for security and debugging.
What we don't do
No advertising trackers, no third-party analytics SDKs in the app, no selling of data. Ever.
Third parties
Apple WeatherKit and Open-Meteo receive coordinates so they can return a forecast. Apple's privacy practices apply to WeatherKit; Open-Meteo's privacy practices apply to Open-Meteo. Neither provider is told who you are.
